I'm a final year English Literature and American Studies student with an affinity for all things Gender and Cultural Studies.
I believe that Polyphony, as a student run publication, is in a unique position to not only advocate for the celebration of the incredible work of the student body but also create and continue to grow a joint community between the disciplines of English Literature, American Studies and Creative Writing.

I am a final year English Literature student with a focus on gender studies and film studies, but I have also recently gained an interest in texts on environmental issues and our relations with the rest of the living world. I am a final year student studying English Literature, with a keen interest in baking, poetry, art history and current events. I take a Creative Writing module and write a lot of my own poetry mainly focussing on the themes of identity and self-expression, and the many delicately intricate ways it can manifest.

I am a final year English Literature student with a particular interest in Modernism and Female Experimental fiction. I also have an appreciation for non-fiction pieces, especially the essay form, which is celebrated here at Polyphony. As we move into a post-pandemic world, I'm interested to see how student opinions will shift and be channeled through their academic work.

I am a second year English Literature and Spanish student, with a specific interest in gender and sexuality in both fiction and film. I most enjoy absorbing and creating art which challenges and explores themes of identity in unique ways. Alongside Polyphony, I edit Eponym, a biannual digital art and literature magazine which I co-founded. And in my own time, I’m a bit of a sitcom fanatic.

I’m a second year English Literature with Creative Writing student. I mostly write short stories, but recently have been experimenting with different forms of poetry. I take great interest in writing (developing my first book currently), sports, and anything creative really. Though I am in my final-year of study, I try to make time away from that terrible ‘dissertation’.
