I'm a final year English Literature and American Studies student with an affinity for all things Gender and Cultural Studies.
I believe that Polyphony, as a student run publication, is in a unique position to not only advocate for the celebration of the incredible work of the student body but also create and continue to grow a joint community between the disciplines of English Literature, American Studies and Creative Writing.
I am a third year student doing an undergraduate degree in American studies. My fascination lies within poetry, romanticism, religion and race. Here at Polyphony we celebrate all things innovative and unique, praising the excellent and hard working students of the university.
Head of Creative Writing
I am a final year American Studies student. My main interests are American popular culture and its relationship to US imperialism, and transgender philosophy in the cultural industries. In addition to my studies, I am a musician, published poet, and a founding member of the Manchester-based music and arts collective Latex Sounds

I am a final year English Literature student with a focus on gender studies and film studies, but I have also recently gained an interest in texts on environmental issues and our relations with the rest of the living world. In my own time I consume a worrying amount of horror and science fiction media.
I’m a first year English Literature student interested in aesthetics, philosophy, and experimentation, and write poetry of my own.
I am a final year student studying English Literature, with a keen interest in baking, poetry, art history and current events. I take a Creative Writing module and write a lot of my own poetry mainly focussing on the themes of identity and self-expression, and the many delicately intricate ways it can manifest.
